Today was a good Sunday

Well today in church it was nice. Aaron, the little boy with autism in my class, did something completely new. Typically i get the vibe he's still hesitant about me and wishes he had his old teacher, but each week he warms up a tiny bit because i try to make him laugh and have a good time in primary. I was gone last Sunday because Dahm and I were on vacation. So this week i was looking forward to being back and seeing the kids and getting everything back to normal. We typically have the kids wait in the hall in a line so we can get the room ready. I was coming out from setting my bag inside in my row, and Aaron RUNS straight to me and gives me the biggest hug and says, "Teacher! You're back!!!"
That was really awesome. Makes all the meltdowns and frustrations and whining worth it. It was a good Sunday.
