Carter

So my stake redrew the boundaries and combined 3 wards - so we all got released. Well last week, I offered to help out in the primary while they restructured with anything they needed (I even had a lesson ready just in case) and they asked if I would be the 2nd teacher in a class and help a little boy with Down's. Well he apparently was amazing compared to how he normally behaves, so they asked me to help him again this week just during primary and he was even better than last time. Like I don't get why everyone has had issues, like we just play and I let him be in charge because I literally have no obligation to teach him anything, and he has like 3-4 other siblings near to his age (so with his disability, I doubt he gets to be in charge very often and siblings are always bossy) and so he has fun and doesn't run off. Lol. It's not even rocket science. We had so much fun. And when they played a song game today, we did all the fun dancey songs and it gave him such a kick out of it! I had to whisper sing some right again afterwards because it just made him so happy. He liked it even better when everyone in the room sang, but he still liked it a lot when I did. It was just so sweet and fun. Like I could live for those smiles! And after he was just so happy. I thoroughly enjoyed making ANY connections to him. Like I asked if he was tired, he didn't respond, I then said I was tired and he responded "Me too!" Like every coherent thought and sentence and clear interaction was absolutely wonderful. Isn't that funny how that happens sometimes? He is adorable. He has platinum blonde hair and blue eyes, and is between 8-10 (MAX, but I'm guessing 9) years old. His mom is also in primary and I think she is great too. Also, two of his siblings (twins) were in my class before we all got released. Fun!
PS I'm sorry I'm so horrible at shipping! One of the car's wheels has a slow leak and dahm takes the other vehicle to work, and it the post office closes earlier here. And I just remembered yesterday I can request a pickup. Ugh. I'm so sorry! I love you.
