The thing it didn't tell you about the end of the story was that the chimp offered her adopted baby to her caretaker, and she had to tell Washoe thank you, but you need to take care of it haha
Made me cry--I want to give Washoe a hug. She showed more compassion and understanding than some human beings are capable of. And offering the caregiver her adopted baby?! Humans wouldn't ever do that--what a sweetheart. HJ
