Well this week (Tues-Tues) Dahm's shift is from noon to midnight. Don't really get to see him at all since I leave work (SO MUCH STUPID STUFF AT WORK RIGHT NOW, DON'T EVEN WANT TO GO INTO IT BECAUSE IT MAKES ME SO MAD!!!!) at 8 and get home at 3... I hit my head feeding Cocoa yesterday and it is still kinda giving me a headache..

This is what I saw when I came home.

Well I have been a little frazzled today because Jen came back and was crazy.

So I went home and pretty much crashed after I took out the dogs (BTW Cocoa hasn't pooped in the house for like a week!!! Wahoo!). I woke up two hours later and my hair, which I put in a bun after my shower this morning, was starting to come out of the ponytail so I took it out.

I knew that I needed to brush it though, the ends were actually all tangly...

I knew it would be bad but I never expected a....

Bad Fromance!!!

Hhahahaha that won't get tiring anytime soon..

Well after I got situated and hair straightened I pretty much just played with Ricky and Cocoa and played one of the video games Dahm brought back here for me.

This is how it always ends when we play...

We went down to the airforce base to shoot trap and skeet -

Weeeeell there was a sexist guy in his 50's (still nice) and a older very nice guy who were there.

And when I said that I hadn't shot before, the sexist guy said he would get together some lower

caliber shotguns for me to fire to see "if I could handle" the bigger one.

I didn't say anything. But I wanted to smack him in the face just a little.

Well the older gentleman (who is a retired Navy SEAL) gave me a lesson 

on shooting and was really sweet.

This whole time Dahm and his stupid, idiot friend are shooting their first game of trap,

which I don't care that they were lol.

Well I worked my way up to a 12 gauge (which is the gauge of Dahm's shotgun)

and I was doing good, so my gentleman teacher said "You'll be ready to give those boys a run for their money now!" (He was so sweet.)

So I waited until Dahm and Lohnnes were finished with their game. Well another couple of really nice guys, a    man and his son-in-law, came to shoot trap, so the three of us played. 

Now, I didn't know this, so I am going to assume you don't either.

Trap has 5 stations to shoot, all in an arch around the launcher shed thingy.

You each go to a station and shoot 5 rounds at a pigeon but you don't know which direction it will go.

Each person shoots one round at a time, and one person sitting or something launches the pigeon when you yell pull.

I KICKED SERIOUS BUTT and got at LEAST as many as the two guys and MORE than Dahm and Lohnnes.

Skeet was harder for me, because my shoulders by this time were tired of holding up Dahm's heavy gun, and the day before we went surfing which is a LOT of arm work.

Skeet has seven positions in an arch, with a high launcher to the left, and a low launcher to the right. 

You shoot 4 in a row, 2 high 2 low alternating, on the end two on each side and 2 in a row, 1 high and 1 low, on the center positions.

I did meh on this one, but Lohnnes accidentally gave me a double (both launchers) and I didn't know, and I shot BOTH when they crossed. I felt dang cool.

Two other people clapped for me.

I was the only girl at the range.

There was a mom with her kid when we first got there, but I don't know if she shot at all.

When we finished our skeet game, my old gentleman came walking up and said,

"Where's our pretty girl??"

And i yelled "Here I am!!"

And he told me he was going to teach me how to beat those "ugly boys" at skeet.

LOL.

He showed me where to shoot and told me the 3 things I needed to do to hit it, and how far of a lead to put on each one.

My arms were killing me, and even though his gun was lighter, I had a hard time holding it up to my face.

I missed a bunch, but I hit the last one, which was most important.

He told me he would pick up the shells, and when we met up at the officey place, he told me now I could beat those boys and that they don't give lessons like that to "dumb, ugly boys."

HAHA. He was a hoot :) I was DANG good too. :)

Well it is waaaaay past my bedtime.

Every time I go to pick up Cocoa I put my hand underneath her tummy and if she wants me to pick her up she does a little jump to help me out.

Well I am tired of typing, so I will make it a little more interesting.

Ricky graduated his puppy class! Yay!

He and I were quite bored waiting for the dumb vet.

He kept whining and I took him out 3 times.

Finally, I told him if he wasn't there at 11:30 that we would leave.

The vet came.

Luckily for Ricky he is fine.

I wiped out a few times on the body board. My scrapes and tiny bruises.

Tried my hand at surfing, board hit me on the back of my leg. This is was taken the day after on Sunday

 

This is today. Quite bruised.

 

I also turned myself into the Little Mermaid when the surfboard launched itself into my throat and turned me mute for the rest of the night. Kinda painful. Dahm was extremely sweet.

We BOTH forgot to take pictures of the fun we were having. :P

 

Cocoa discovered the beach bag Sunday before I went to church.

She sat on it for awhile but when I put her in it all the way she jumped out.

Then she jumped back in.

I put the bag standing up and she climbed into it and fell asleep. She heard me coming though.

I needed the bag to carry my lesson stuff, so she cuddled up on my jacket and took a nap.

Made a candle holder.

Saw these yesterday at BI-LO, they are 2.5 inch gummy figures of Mario, Luigi, Bowser, and Yoshi. SO COOL. HAILEY WANT

So many things have happened to make Hailey mad. But first. Ricky has a new kennel. Ta DA!

You can kinda still see how big he is inside it.

ANYWHO.

This morning my tummy hurt VERY bad. I had the poops and I just started my period. I was on the potty for half an hour. It hurt so bad I wanted to puke. So I called Jen and asked if I could come in a little later. 

She then told me, SURPRISE TO ME, that she was going to her son's field trip today. SHE NEVER ASKED me if it was ok to leave me in the office alone. She made it sound like she was going to leave soon then be gone all day.

Then at the office in front of Brenda she said she would only go like an hour or two. LIES.

I told her to stay thru lunch, just come back to the office later please.

DOES SHE COME BACK? NO.

I had to HUNT HER DOWN to find out where she was. At home. With Michael.Which is on the way to the office. She was just too lazy to pick up the phone on her way home. 

OH. And then she asked if i could bring it to her house. If it wasn't for Tommy having to take time to do it, I wouldn't have. 

It was a kind of long day, yet I still did better at not being stressed about managing the office like she does.

Luckily MOST my cramping went away. KINDA.

I was SO mad when she told me over the phone. SOOOO MAD.

Goose Creek smells like sweet, poo poo toilet water, swampy sewer guts whenever it rains and the wind is blowing just a little. It is nasty.

My friend found fleas on her dog. 

I think her girl dog is sick because she is lethargic and lays around just scratching herself.

Cocoa is sitting on my shoulder happy as a bear in a honey pot.

It is supposed to rain every day this week.

Ricky is a turd.

I need a little bed for his crate so he doesn't slide around in it.

THE WORLD IS EXPENSIVE.

I had to remind Jen to do my direct deposit stuff.

I have stayed late 3 out of 4 days this week. 

THE DURN COMPUTER DOESN'T BELIEVE I SHOULD HAVE SPEAKERS AND WON'T FIND THEM.

Cocoa is snippity because she is having a false pregnancy.

People are bad drivers.

Life has been busy

There are so many things say. Cocoa, I believe, is allergic to peanut butter which is why she's been scratching so much. I stopped giving her peanut butter today and gave her cheese with her medicine instead and already her scratching is almost stopped so that makes me happy. Dahm also snuggled cocoa today, it was pretty cute :).
Ricky tore up the recliner when I boxed him in with it when he peed his kennel (cuz of his meds) and i had to bathe him before work. I couldnt leave him wet in there because thats what causes skin infections so i gated him up and put the recliner back so he couldnt get out. He moved  out of the way and tore the fuzz out of the sleeves. So i could fix it or dump it. Leaning towards dumping.
The recliner made dahm mad so he started talking rehoming ricky to which i told him off for. Because he is MY dog and just cuz dahm isnt taking care of him doesnt mean i am not. So yeaah. Not made me happy. He asked if i would trade him for a cat (NO.) And later after training class he felt differently.
We saw some homeless cats today when i went with him to pick up his pizza. He said i could take one home. Not sure if he was joking... he also said i might could have a kitten. Still not sure if he was kidding.
Very very tempting dahmahnic. Tempting indeed.
He also joked that i could get a different apartment in august. Also tempting. I would like two levels still but also a more livable space. Mine right now is narrow and weird and feels small downstairs and big upstairs. Also it is shaped weird so its hard to have furniture.

Ugh...

Well Ricky has another skin infection that cost me about another $56. so far the last two weeks I've spent over $300 on both dogs to get some healthy. does this ever stop? I hope it does. Hopefully now that Ricky's got the antibiotics he wont be scratching and wont get those little sores on his tummy anymore. His doctor said that if both the dogs have allergies to something in the environment that they can take benadryl Cocoa would take a quarter pill and Ricky would take 3 every 12 hours. I now have six different medicines to give the dogs. It kind of stinks but something has to be done. Oh, and all the medicine has to be given with food. Yippee

I Told Them!!

Cocoa's tooth fell out on its own today! Dumb vet wanted to make me pay lotsa dollars  get it removed. I knew itd fall out once she started chewing things on that side :) i could tell it would because she never wanted to chew on that side

My car turned old this last week.
People always ask me why i still have this "ancient" car (which is an insult to me because we are both from '93!!!) A LOT. First off.
I have spent less than $600 maintaining this car since i bought it.
It is bigger than it looks!
It has had a couple problems, but since the hill-holder was taken out and the starter fixed, i have had ZERO problems driving it 250+ miles every week and a half.
Due to my accidental silliness, i know it can go over 100mph without shaking or me noticing.
It is a manual transmission. And i rock at driving stick.
And lastly, my gas mileage just keeps getting better!!! This last 250 mile chunk (thats when i fill up no matter what) I got 29.55 miles per gallon, which is bettee than Dahm and his new fancy car got last week! So YAY ME.
Tommy wants to buy my Suby from me when i sell it. I told him "good luck!"
These models just dont break! :)

Been in a bummer mood...

Well I have found out that I don't like to write when I am in a bad mood.
Even though I know I should, just to get in the habit, I just kinda took a break.
Well I am exhausted today, my eyes just feel heavy. Jen is sick too, so it's not all flowers and roses here at work. I want to get a tablet!
I found the one I want, but I can't afford it till next payday. It's not too expensive, but now D is being fussy about money so I am trying to pay him off as fast as possible, even though he told me I didn't need to worry about it.
LIKE I WOULDN'T PAY IT OFF EVEN IF WE WERE TOGETHER.
Growl.
Anywho, I will post more cute things when I get home.

Cool!

I was typing my blog name and google suggested Hayleric De Weston" who was someone in history from holland! Nifty!!

Lots and lots of stuff.

I love brushing my dogs' teeth. Ricky sits so well and just lets me do it because he likes the taste and gets to lick the toothbrush when he is done. I use the toothpaste I originally got for Spot, which he hated and only liked to lick it a little because it made his mouth sticky, cuz it's for dogs and cats. I need to do it more so he has better gums and blah blah blah dogs can get toof diseases at 3 if they don't get their teefies brushed. Cocoa is a little more difficult to brush, she likes to lick it off the toothbrush and not let it get her teeth. However, according to the tubey even if they just lick some it benefits their breath and mouth.
So I guess she wins too.
The vet gave me an estimate (I didn't ask them to) of how much it would cost to get Cocoa spayed (with lazer), have her spare tooth removed, and get her microchipped.
IT WAS OVER $400!!! HECK NO I am NOT going to pay THAT. If and when I get her spayed, I am going to do it at one of those clinics the SPCA holds where it is like $40. And when I get her microchipped I am taking her to the pound as well, because $40 for unconscious microchipping and $46 for conscious microchipping is a ridiculous amount. I know I am probably going to end up paying about or over $100 but there is no circumstance in the world where I will want to pay $462 to get her spayed!!!! THAT is utter BALONEY.

Dont tease SC!

The weather lately has been up and down and rainy - natives say it usually isnt like this so i feel scammed. Today however there are NO clouds and it is warm warm warm! I want it to stay that way! No more wet, just sun! It can rain at night when it cools down!
I swear when it comes to rain SC is bipolar. Uggggh hailey wants to go swimming! Neeeeeed sun!
Weather should be good till friday... but the forecast says we will be getting a thunderstorm this sunday. BLUCH

I felt like something was in my eye since 3 pm while i was driving, but i dismissed it because sometimes when i rub my eyes too much it feels like theres spmething in them when there isnt. The feeling went away till dahm came over at like 8 when i rubbed my eye. Dying of itchy, i went and looked in the bathroom and sure enough there was an eyelash right where my fingers couldnt get it. I got it out with a qtip. It was literally a centimeter long.
I know. Im boring.
Btw i went and picked up a check from a rude lady and she had the ABSOLUTE CREEPIEST garden thing ever.

Well.

Well here i am, waiting at glass masters for one of the work trucks to get fixed. I could not sleep for the life of me last night. I ended up falling asleep around 3:30 am, and not in my bed! I ended up sleeping on the couch last night because i just couldnt sleep at all. Then i woke up at 7 and snoozed till 7:30. So i am feeling not too hot today. However, my coworkers birthday was on monday and i made her a cake and got her a little rabbit from an antique store. Jen and i hid in the hallway before she came in and we bombarded her with love. When she read the cards we gave her she nearly cried :). She turned 50 on saturday (she only looks about 40) and we werent able to surprise her at her house- but it was a good thing cuz her daughter had planned this huge event for her that day. She was a very happy lady. :)
It is the first nice day here in a few weeks (knock on wood) and there wasnt a cloud in the sky when i woke up. It was super rainy for so long, so its nice to see some blue :).
Well i am super sleepy and half tempted to lay down on these chairs, but thats not what growed ups do. Unfortunately.
